Music Man - Zelda vs. Mario

Hello Everyone!

As you may or may not know, last semester I did a jazz band arrangement entitled Zelda Vs. Mario. It includes four main themes from the original nintendo games The Legend of Zelda and Super Mario Bros. Today, I finally got a live recording of the jazz concert in which Studio 11o of Henry Ford Community College performed my piece for the first time. It was a really neat experience (it's a rush!) to have everyone playing music that I arranged.
So, here it is, for your listening pleasure...dedicated to old school gamers everywhere:

Big Band style!

Sincerely,

Music Man

P.S. Comments are welcome...like if you think I should try and get this arrangement published.

That was sweet Jeremy! I really think that you have a lot of talent! My favorite part was the end, not because it was over (ha ha), but because of the "game over" music. Great touch!

How fun! I like the live recording. That must have been a thrill to listen to people play your music.

As a old school original 8-bit nintendo game collector I can appreciate your rendition.

Here is a great site for video game music: http://www.ocremix.org/

Jordan and I (Kyra) loved it! That's saying a lot, too, since neither of us have ever played either of those nintendo games. I thought it sounded great, and Jordan was dancing the whole time. We think you should definitely publish it.

Hey bro, that is some sweet Jazz. I think you should write "Fantasy on themes from Contra" next. No NES game had more memorable musical motifs!
